Faith & John’s Unforgettable Wedding at Maysara Winery

You smell that? That’s the smell of love and aged pinot, and boy was it potent during this wedding. It was a good smell by the way, let’s make that clear. 

Faith and John’s wedding at Maysara Winery was one for the books. 

A remote, beautiful venue, light up cowboy hats, sparklers, crowd surfing, an interactive Portland photo booth rental 😉, the list goes on.

If I didn’t know better I would’ve thought I was living a Hallmark movie in real life, and because of that I realized it’s time to reflect on that day…

Maysara Winery – A Dreamy Wedding Venue in Oregon Wine Country

Faith and John's wedding was held at Maysara Winery. 

Nestled in McMinnville, only an hour from Portland, Oregon, Maysara is an amazing spot for couples who want a private setting and rustic elegance with a side of jaw-dropping scenery. 

Stone archways, rolling hills, cobblestone floors, wine barrels from floor to ceiling, and one of the largest entryways I’ve ever seen. 

Maysara is a statement piece for a wedding being one of the largest indoor/outdoor wedding venues in Oregon wine country. It did not disappoint. 

Wedding Details That Stole the Show

While the weather was questionable for a while, typical Oregon, Faith and John were able to hold the ceremony on Maysara’s outdoor balcony where they said “I do” under a handmade wooden arch built by Faith’s dad (cue the happy tears). 

Once the sun dipped below the horizon, the reception kicked off in full swing. 

The vibe inside the venue was immaculate. Candles lit up the tables for a moody dinner followed by one of the most incredible first dances I’ve ever seen. 

Faith and John danced in front of Maysara’s massive entryway and were enveloped by a fog machine while sparklers went off in the distance. 

I may or may not have been taking notes for my future wedding…

As the first dances ended, the real dancing began. 

When I say the energy was electric, I mean it. 

One second I look over to the dance floor and multiple people are doing the worm. I look away and the next thing I know the groom is being tossed up in the air. 

These people knew how to party. 

We felt at home. 

Wedding Photo Booth Rental in Portland: Faith & John’s Experience

Now, let’s talk about the real MVP of the night (besides the couple, of course): our wedding photo booth rental. 

Listen, if you’re not adding a photo booth to your wedding, what are you even doing? 

Faith and John knew that their guests would love something interactive, entertaining, and instantly gratifying—and our open-air photo booth rental was the perfect fit.

Faith and John opted for our Printer Booth, which is one of our most popular choices for weddings. 

After talking with Faith, she mentioned that Maysara had a really cool stone wall that she’d like as the backdrop for the photo booth. 

Her wish was our command, and we couldn’t have been happier with the way the photos came out with this stone wall background. 

When it came to the photo prints, Faith wanted to go with our traditional photo strip option but with a splash of fun to the photo template designs. 

After a few back and forth designs we created the perfect template that encapsulated the wedding vibe and was on brand with the color palette of the wedding. 

A little disco ball, a fun font, and a few extra sparkles around the border. 

We always love when our clients are willing to add a fun and unique design to their photo templates. This is one area that we always work hand in hand with clients to make the designs truly special.

All in all, we were so happy to play a small part in this wedding.
