WHY COUPLES CHOOSE PUDDLES

Portland's Professional Wedding Crashers

We crash weddings for a living. Professionally, obviously.

Hundreds of weddings across Portland and the PNW. Venues ranging from downtown lofts to Willamette Valley wineries. We know how to show up, make everyone look incredible, and keep the booth packed from cocktail hour to last call.

The photos are great. The energy is contagious. The dance moves are a work in progress.

The Puddles Difference

Part mobile studio. Part life of the party.

Fun and great photos should go together. We built Puddles to make sure they do. Professional-grade equipment, flattering lighting, and a team that knows how to make people look good. Every Portland wedding rental includes the full setup. No base tier, no surprise fees, no missing the good stuff.

Modern white photo booth setup with umbrella flash and printer, surrounded by red flowers and candles on a red backdrop.

The Gear Is The Real Deal

24MP Canon DSLR. Studio flash. A setup built for an editorial shoot. Printed in seconds. On their phone before the next drink order.

Built For Your Wedding

Custom photo templates built around your colors, fonts, and aesthetic. Every print looks like it belongs at your wedding. Because it was designed for it.

We Handle Everything

Delivery, early setup, full-night attendant, teardown, online gallery. Starbucks orders if you ask nicely. You focus on the dance floor. Fair warning: we might too.

Portland wedding venues

Whatever the venue, we've probably been there.

Winery weddings in the Willamette Valley. Industrial-chic receptions in the Pearl District. Barn weddings in White Salmon, WA. The list goes on.

We know the load-in logistics, the venue coordinator's name, and the exact corner of the room where the booth always works best. This is a small sample. If your venue isn't here, tell us where you're getting married. We've probably been there.

Bride and groom dancing on a black and white checkered floor at The Castaway in Portland with guests seated at round tables under hanging disco balls and string lights.

Portland's most iconic warehouse venue. The kind of venue where cocktail hour turns into a full send before dinner even starts. The booth keeps up. We've checked.

Guests socializing outside and inside a large rustic wooden barn decorated with draped lights at dusk, with a windmill and tall trees nearby.

White Salmon, Washington. A century-old barn above the Columbia River Gorge. Some venues have a view. Tin Roof has a whole landscape.

Indoor event space at Maysara Winery with rows of wooden chairs facing stacked wooden barrels and dried floral arrangements under string lights.

Stone and wood architecture, 532 acres of vineyard, and one of the largest event spaces in Willamette Valley wine country. McMinnville at its most majestic, and one of our favorites to work.

Elegant outdoor seating area at Waverley Country Club with white sofas and chairs, crystal chandeliers hanging from trees, and a view of a river in the background.

One of Portland's oldest private country clubs, sitting right on the Willamette River. The dress code is formal. The energy is anything but stiff. Gives us an excuse to put on our own tuxes.

Spacious wedding reception venue with round tables covered in white tablecloths, floral centerpieces, gold chairs, and large chandeliers hanging from a draped white ceiling.

Private golf club in West Linn with views that make guests forget they're still in Portland. Nobody's checking the scorecard at the reception. Thank god.

Outdoor wedding setup at Abernethy Center with a white gazebo decorated with floral arrangements and rows of white chairs on both sides of a stone pathway.

Three venues, one Oregon City estate. Garden ceremony, elegant ballroom, intimate chapel. Abernethy has it all, and we're proud to be a preferred vendor.

Common Questions

Things Couples Actually Ask Us

How much does a wedding photo booth cost in Portland?

Wedding photo booth rentals start at $1,100 for 2 active hours (Studio Booth) or $1,300 (Glam Booth). For most weddings the total investment lands between $1,100 and $1,700 depending on guest count, timeline, and any add-ons like flower wall backdrops or custom engraved photo albums. We price every wedding individually. Tell us your details and we'll send an exact quote. No surprises.

Do I have to pay full price when the booth isn't being used?

No. Ceremonies, dinners, and speeches aren't photo booth moments and we'd rather not charge you the full rate while guests are seated. During those windows we charge half the hourly rate to keep the booth set up and ready (called idle time). The moment guests are back on their feet, we flip the switch. We plan the active and idle periods with you and your wedding planner ahead of time so everything fits your day.

How many active hours do I need for my wedding?

For most weddings, either 3 or 4 active hours. If you want the booth open during cocktail hour and again after dinner, plan for 4. If you're skipping cocktail hour and running the booth during the reception only, 3 active hours is plenty. Typically 7 to 10pm covers the sweet spot. We'll give you a specific recommendation once we know your guest count, venue, and rough timeline.

What's the difference between the Studio Booth and Glam Booth for weddings?

The Glam Booth shoots in black and white with a skin-smoothing filter. Timeless, editorial, and by far our most popular choice for black-tie Portland weddings. The Studio Booth is full color. Great for couples who want vibrant, high-energy reception photos. Same professional camera and lighting on both.

How far in advance should we book?

3 to 6 months is the sweet spot for peak season (May through October). Many couples book 6 to 12 months out, especially for popular Saturday dates. We do take last-minute bookings when availability allows.

Do you travel to venues outside Portland?

Yes. We regularly work weddings in the Willamette Valley, Bend, Hood River, Vancouver WA, and across Oregon. Portland metro delivery is included. Travel fees may apply outside the metro,  just tell us your venue and we'll confirm everything upfront.

What's included with every wedding rental?

Delivery and setup completed 1 hour before guests arrive, backdrop, props if desired, on-site attendant for the full rental period, unlimited prints, a custom photo template matched to your wedding design, instant digital sharing via text, airdrop or email, and a full online gallery delivered within 48 hours.

We used Puddles Photo Booth for our wedding and I cannot express enough how amazing it was. It was by far the hit of the night, our guests enjoyed it just as much as we did. Connor was great to work with, was able to provide exactly what I wanted and was communicative and punctual. I will for sure be recommending puddles to anyone and be using them for any future events.

We rented a photo booth for our wedding, and if you're on the fence about getting one for your event, let me convince you:-First off, the photo booth was a HIT! Super fun props and almost all of my guests used the photo booth and wrote in our guest book next to their photo!-The black and white filter made everyone look so flawless and glamorous, so many people did multiple photo poses so they could print more because they liked the photo strips so much!!-Connor was WONDERFUL to work with. He was very communicative prior to the event, making sure all the things would go off without a hitch, and brought good vibes to the event that encouraged people to come and use the photobooth!! Also my niece took 93 solo shots, and Connor was so patient and kind and truly made it a memorable night for all! Thanks again to Puddles Photo Booth!!! You guys rock.
