Palace Aesthetics Grand Opening Event Recap
Botox and Photo Booths. It's the kind of event we dream about.
Palace Aesthetics, which is a women-owned beauty collective located in Portland, Oregon, came to us wanting to rent a photo booth for their company's grand opening event.
We've worked with our fair share of aesthetic companies and have to admit these are some of our all time favorite events so obviously we said, "Hell yeah, we'll be there!".
Palace ended up going with our Glam Booth, which comes with Black and White photos and our signature "Glam Filter".
The filter smoothes over any minor blemishes, but since we were working with an aesthetic company, blemishes were not a thing.
Everyone's skincare routine was top notch and I was taking notes.
The grand opening was an absolute hit.
The DJ was spinning, they had a tattoo artist, cupcakes, a tarot card reader, raffles, and they were providing some of their services that range from injectable treatments such as Botox, dermal fillers, and biostimulators, as well as advanced skincare services like microneedling, chemical peels, and facials.
We were a bit busy with the photo booth so unfortunately our skin suffered but we'll be back for some fillers.
The Photo Booth Experience
For the photo booth, we kept things simple.
Palace Aesthetics opted for some minimally branded photo strips with their logo on them.
This is always a great move as people more often than not take photos of the photo strips to share on Instagram, which happened a lot after this event.
This was an easy way to get the Palace Aesthetics name out there.
We also created a microsite for their online photo gallery that included their branding and CTA button that led to their website.
The way this would work is people took a photo, put their phone number in the photo booth, and received a text with a link to the microsite that had their photo and Palace Aesthetics info.

Now if there's one thing we've taken away from working with aesthetic companies, it's that they love photos, and we love them for that.
In a span of 3 hours we took 420 photos. That's 2.3 photos every minute.
At the end of it all we were able to give Palace Aesthetics some great content for their Instagram feeds, guests were sharing their photos and tagging Palace on Instagram, and we even created a custom Instagram Reel for Palace's social media feeds so they could continue to drive more engagement.
Photo Booth Rentals for Brand Activations
Our work with Palace Aesthetics is one of many ways we can show up for company events and brand activations.
Yes, photo booths are fun and engaging, but they're also highly effective at building brand exposure and can easily be integrated into more robust brand campaigns.
Here are a few ways we can help activate:
Lead Capture
With our photo booths we can collect phone numbers and/or emails of anyone that opts into receiving further marketing material from your company.
The way this works is people would take a photo, if they'd like to receive that photo via text/email they'd input that information into the photo booth and agree to receive additional marketing messages.
We'd then provide you with the list of leads and their contact info from the event.
It's then in your hands how you want to use those leads.
You could nurture those leads with an email marketing campaign. You could include phone numbers in your SMS marketing lead campaigns. The possibilities are endless.
Branded Microsite
Based on the activation and your goals we'll work with you to create a microsite with your branding and a CTA button to your website, landing page, Instagram, or even a form for users to fill out if you'd like to hold a raffle or collect additional user info for any reason.
The microsite is where all the guests photos will be stored.
Users will have to access this site to download their photos, making it an ideal place to have additional marketing for your brand.
Custom Branded Photo Strips
Similar to what we did for Palace Aesthetics, we'll create custom photo strips with your branding on them.
9 times out of 10 guests are taking photos of their photo strips and posting to Instagram, making this an easy way to get your brand out there for additional eyes.
Instagram Reels and TikToks
Based on our agreement with you, we can capture additional content at the event and develop a handful of Reels and TikToks highlighting the photo booth activation and your event.
We'll then deliver these to you for your own use across your social media profiles.
Custom Branded Photo Booth Wraps
For larger activations and a good amount of lead time we can work with you to create custom branded photo booth wraps.
This is a great statement piece. When people see the photo booth, it's decked out in your branding, adding one more additional touchpoint for your brand.
Custom Branded Backgrounds
When it comes to the photo booth background we can get creative here depending on timing.
If you want to go simple with a step and repeat background with your logo, that's fair game.
If you'd like to develop a more intricate design (3D elements, furniture, etc.) we'll work with you and additional vendors to make it happen and make the photo booth experience even more interactive.
Extra Marketing Content
This might be obvious but a photo booth at your activation gives you a ton of additional marketing content for use across social media and your website.
You'll have to get consent from users, which we can help with, to use their imagery. But assuming that goes well, you'll have content for days.
